Expert Consulting Services

From 2009 to 2025, Barbara served as the President and CEO for Circle of Friends Services, a private, not-for-profit agency dedicated to serving the mental health needs of children and families. Previously, Barbara also served as the Director of Clinical Services for KidsPeace Inc, Neighbor To Family, and the Children’s Home Society. 

In addition to being a LMHC in Florida, Barbara is also a Diplomate of Clinical Forensic Counseling with the American College of Clinical Forensic Counselors, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified Adoption Competent Therapist.

  Barbara has worked in the child welfare systems in several states for over forty years. She has served as a clinical consultant to several family courts , providing expert testimony and consultation on issues such as childhood trauma, the long-term effects of abuse on a child, PTSD and childhood attachment issues.
